OTLEY LIONS CLUB
LIONS AWARDS 2020

In order to help our local communities Otley Lions Club is offering awards to local groups or people who would like some assistance to bring their plans to fruition.

​Eligible groups are:-

• Local self-help groups who are in need of some equipment or funding for a specific activity. Examples might be sports or dance teams looking for kit, local craft groups looking for specialist equipment, or groups of any sort trying to fund a one off activity for members of the community.​

• Young entrepreneurs (18 – 25 years of age) who have recently established their own small business or are currently trying to do so. Examples might be someone looking for specialist tools, start up materials or the equipping of premises.

Awards in the region of £500 - £1,000 are anticipated, but larger or smaller amounts may be considered. The award should be for a specific purpose, not merely as an addition to general funds.

Applicants should be residents of Otley, Pool, Burley or Menston. Applications should be submitted by the 31st January 2020, and successful applicants will be invited to a presentation evening during the first half of 2020.
